Research is our innovation Labs.

Innovators develop more effective and life-changing solutions when in dialogue with those who need it in the market. The Center's Labs forms Centers of Excellence (CoE) with faculty, researchers, technologists, and students to co-lead world-class experiments and projects. As a result, innovators actively advance customer development and position a real-world, marketable solution for incubation or commercialization.

Our Centers of Excellence drive the discovery and design of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) responsive and prescient solutions that aim to impact families, businesses, communities, ecosystems, and economies. Researchers, faculty, and students collaborate within and across institutions, industries, and networks to advance pre-product and pre-acceleration market research, customer interaction, and capability design.

Our research approach aligns innovation initiatives with academic semesters, corporate and foundation research programs, and government and non-profit communities to fill the gap in translating innovation research into technology transfer, market commercialization, investment, business relationships, and economic growth.

We champion new research for next generations.

The future development and use of emerging technologies will define how families, businesses, and communities engage and communicate with one another, nature, our planet, and the universe. It is inevitable that humans must be mindful of and seek to master a range of technology interfaces as we continue to advance science, art, business, education, healthcare, and beyond. Human interaction and growth with technology will define the final frontier. You might be thinking about and/or working on:

· Extended Reality (XR) Tools to advance real-and-virtual combined and new environments

· Distributed Ledgers to empower activities in local, regional, and other economies

· Brain-Machine Interface (BMI) to enhance new and better communication pathways

*Note: BMI is also referred to as Mind-Machine Interface (MMI) or Direct-Neural Interface (DNI)

We support ongoing research with community partners.

The work of building and realizing a better, more resilient, sustainable, and equitable world depends largely on the vocations and contributions of leaders, practitioners, and professionals living and working in our local communities and economies. Our collective ability to attract, train, and retain talent across the ecosystem will prove to be pivotal in designing, developing, and deploying solutions to improve the quality of life of families, businesses, and communities.
